Lord of the Reefs

One alone..all alone..wary of ear and eye.
The western wind and seas my home.
-Lord of the Reefs am I!
Well, you may stare you human thing,
My world here was once was yours.
But what part of you now knows the lonely wind
That stings on these barren shores?
You have forgot the twilight deep
Where the kelpen forest flow…
Where the long slow breath of the ocean
Gives life to the world below.
Be gone with your stare, you human being
-best not let these memories die.
You bring the scent of an unreal thing
-One with the sea am I!
